The EdChoice voucher scheme is an entitlement for an individual to receive tax money for a private purpose

Taxes are imposed to be used by governments to pay for public purposes. The fuel tax is imposed to construct and operate highways—not for private roads. It would be grossly illogical for government to issue a voucher to private citizens to build a private road.

What logic is there in taking funds out of the school district basic aid account for private school vouchers? There is none!
