Discrimination is Taxpayer Funded in Ohio via Vouchers
Taxpayers in Ohio help fund private schools via vouchers and direct state payments to private schools. Private schools can and do discriminate in regard to enrollment practices, due process for students and employees, and a plethora of other ways. Just as alarming, private schools are not publicly accountable for the ways in which they spend public dollars received, nor are they subject to public records requests or open meeting laws.
The argument that parents receive publicly-funded vouchers that become private funds when cashed-in at a private school is absurd.
The EdChoice voucher lawsuit will expose the publicly-funded private school venture in Ohio as a fraud on the public.
