Become a Precinct Captain

Precinct Captains are the voice between the County Party and neighborhoods, and help to build the Democratic Party at its grass roots. Captains can be appointed between elections, but run for the position in even years at the spring primary. Captains are a member of the CCDP Central Committee and attend monthly meetings. We’re actively recruiting to fill empty spots – call the office at (513) 732-2378 or send an email to info@clermontdems.org .

Volunteer

Volunteer for a campaign! 2025 is a nonpartisan election year for schoolboard members, local municipal leaders, and ballot issues. These are the elected positions that effect our daily lives.

Sign up to be a poll worker! This is a rewarding way to participate in the democratic process and you’ll be paid a modest amount for your time. Sign up to be a poll worker.

Let us know your interests and skills! We need everything from sign locations to parades and fundraising help.  Please fill out the volunteer survey and we will be in touch.

Donate

We can’t do this without the generous donations of our members. Donations make it possible to maintain our headquarters for both party and club meetings, support candidates and local campaigns, and build a Democratic presence in Clermont County.

Run for Office

It’s not too early to start thinking about the next election! There are various offices and boards in Clermont County needing fresh Democratic voices, and plenty of help to get you started. Contact the Clermont County Democratic Party at clermontdems@clermontdems.org. Visit the Clermont County Board of Elections website or call their office at 513.732.7275 for information about nominating petitions, filing fees and filing deadlines.
