Regarding the EdChoice Voucher Litigation: Time for School District Leaders to Fish or Cut Bait
For more than two decades, the Ohio Legislature has been quietly moving toward a universal voucher scheme, thus abandoning the constitutionally-required common school system. A few months ago, HB290, the universal voucher bill, was introduced. The long-term, covert operation was exposed when HB290 was introduced.
Many public school officials are in denial that state officials will move forward with HB290 or any other scheme that will disable the public common school system. They, as Babylonian King Belshazzar, cannot interpret the “handwriting on the wall.”
It’s time to fish or cut bait. The doom for the public school system is at hand.
