Beware of the Buckeye Blueprint Campaign, a Grassroots Initiative of the Koch Brothers’ Americans for Prosperity (AFP)
The Buckeye Blueprint campaign is active in some Ohio school communities, attempting to stop Boards of Education from joining the EdChoice voucher litigation.
One of the four agenda items of the campaign is to push for privatization of public education; hence, campaigners will oppose any attempts to stop privatization of public functions. In one Ohio school community, a Buckeye Blueprint campaigner is harassing the Board of Education for joining the EdChoice voucher litigation.
The Koch Brothers bankroll Libertarian causes, primarily via AFT. In addition to funding from the Koch family, AFP is funded by scores of foundations and politically active organizations and individuals. It does not have to reveal the donors.
AFP has chapters in a majority of the states. As far back as June, 2014, it had 240 employees in 32 states.
Watch for Buckeye Blueprint campaigners to show up at school board meetings.
