We all know that activity ramps up during election season – but relationships are built year-round. Neighborhood Teams connect volunteers to voters in their own communities, build lasting relationships, and create a sustainable pipeline of leaders. This year we have one of the strongest Democratic candidate slates in years. Neighborhood Teams give us the structure to meet this moment – locally, relationally, and with scale.
What does a neighborhood team do?
- Talk with neighbors about issues, elections, and candidates
- Host or support local social and community events
- Identify future volunteers, leaders, and candidates
- Assist with sign placement and poll greeting at their polling location on Election Day
Attend the Neighborhood Team meeting on Tuesday, March 31 at 6:30 p.m. at the CCDP office (778 Old State Route 74). Sign up using this form. Even if you can’t attend the meeting, fill out the form to let us know you’re interested in joining.
