Last week grassroots advocacy made a difference we can all see: the Ohio GOP removed its family caregiver ban from its Medicaid bill. This is great news.
On the other hand, several bad bills were passed and will go to the governor’s desk, like HB 472 (above); SB 219 (increases fracking in Ohio’s state parks and public lands); and SB 276 (requires schools to teach “Success Sequence” with no opt-out).
