John Kulewicz is the Democrat candidate for Ohio Attorney General. He recently wrote on social media of his visit to Springfield: “I spoke with as many local officials as possible and offered them my support in what we all know will be a difficult week in the city’s history. This is a community on edge, and the federal government appears to be largely uncommunicative with local authorities—the same local officials who know their community best.”
On the other hand, Keith Faber, the current State Auditor and Republican candidate for Ohio Attorney General, wrote an opinion piece for the Columbus Dispatch, and said, “Renee Good wasn’t an ‘innocent.’ I won’t tolerate lawlessness as Ohio AG. . . . If you have done nothing wrong, you will be fine. If you refuse to comply, your actions can escalate quickly — and unnecessarily — into criminal conduct.”
