| Early voting is underway and election day is Tuesday. We have heard from the Clermont County Board of Elections that voter turnout has been slow so far, so let’s get out between now and Tuesday to get qualified people who care about our public schools and local communities elected.
It is imperative that we turn out to vote and that we get our family and friends to the polls as well. We win this year on voter turnout. To see a sample ballot for your community, click here. We have had the opportunity to meet and hear from many fantastic local candidates, as well as from Clermont County Child Protective Services (CPS) and the Clermont County Mental Health Recovery Board about their levy renewals. While the Mental Health Recovery Board’s levy is a renewal only and does not raise new taxes, the Child Protective Services levy consists of both a levy renewal (.8 mil) and a tax increase of .2 mil. To understand how both levies will impact your property taxes, visit this section of the Clermont County Auditor’s website. We encourage you learn more about both levies by clicking on their respective links above. Both levies are critically important investments in our community. The following candidates have spoken at CCDP meetings. Click on their campaign links to learn more. |
