The Democratic Party organizations of Butler, Clermont, Greene, Montgomery, and Warren counties have issued the following statement on the neo-Nazi group demonstrating over I-75 in Lincoln Heights:
But it’s important to remember that these right-wing neo-Nazis aren’t acting alone. Donald Trump and his Republican cronies are complicit in these demonstrations — whether or not they admit it — because their rhetoric and actions have emboldened these degenerates. That’s why so many white supremacist groups like these ones have supported Trump since the beginning: his views and theirs are deeply aligned.
So we demand that Trump and all of his fellow Republicans — at the national, state, and local level — not only join us in publicly and loudly condemning right-wing neo-Nazis, but also that they break all ties with anyone who has ever been associated with them or other neo-fascist networks like Patriot Front, Proud Boys, Oath Keepers, or militia groups. The current regime must clean house by immediately firing everyone in the administration and at every level of Republican leadership who has ever associated with any neo-fascist or militia group or supported them or their agenda in any way.
Finally, we call on all true patriotic Americans to join us in telling right-wing neo-Nazi filth that they are not welcome here in Southwest Ohio, or anywhere else in America. Hate has no home here.
