There are a number of things Gov. DeWine needs to hear from us – to fix the Fair School Funding Plan in the proposed state budget, to withdraw his proposal to restrict travel for people with developmental disabilities, and more — but today, use the numbers below to demand that he veto SB 1.

Despite massive opposition, SB 1 passed the House a few days ago, but with too narrow margin to overturn a veto. Because the House made some amendments to the Senate version of the bill, the Senate needs to vote yes or no (a concurrence bill), most likely on Wednesday 3/26, before it goes to Gov. DeWine for his signature.

There is still time to pressure Governor DeWine to veto the bill!

Call and/or email DeWine today.

P.S. State Senator Terry Johnson, State Rep Adam Bird and State Rep Jean Schmidt all voted for SB 1.
