Want to share your point of view on Fair School Funding? Want to explain why you value public education more than a new Brown’s stadium? Write a letter to the editor! Letters of up to 200 words may be submitted to the Cincinnati Enquirer by filling out this form (click here) or emailing to letters@enquirer.com. Include your name, address, community and daytime phone number. Op-eds are submitted the same way except they should be 500-600 words and also include a one-sentence bio and head shot. Submissions may be edited for space and clarity. The Enquirer gets over 300 Letter-to-the-Editor (LTE) submissions a week and publishes about 25-30 per week, so the chance of getting published is around 10%. In submitting a LTE, it is normal to hear nothing back from them. How to improve the chances that your Letter to the Editor (LTE) is chosen for publication:

For op-eds, the editor prefers topics that are are timely or refer to a recent event. They must present a well-supported argument, and be fact-based. The Clermont Sun and Loveland Magazine also publish LTEs and op-eds. For The Clermont Sun, email Megan Alley, Editor: info@clermontsun.com. For Loveland Magazine, email David Miller, Editor: lovelandmagazine@cinci.rr.com. |
