Hello my Democratic friends,
First, I am delighted to announce that Senator Sherrod Brown is coming to Clermont for a pre-election day rally. This is an exciting event! Be proud that the work we are doing is getting noticed statewide. The exact time and location will be announced the day before the rally.
Second, as we race into the final stretch of the campaign, please take a walk list, as talking to voters is the single best way to educate, change minds, and get people to the polls. At this point, our walking lists are focused on getting out the vote, so you will be knocking on doors of especially friendly voters. There is a variety of canvassing opportunities happening from now until election day and you can do this on your own schedule.
Finally, please educate voters about our slate of candidates and Issue 1 as a Poll Greeter. We are finding that the intentional misinformation on Issue 1 is working. The GOP is at the Board of Elections for early voting and they will be at the polls on election day. We must show up, too. Voters need to know they have choices for candidates, and that they are casting their vote on the Citizens Not Politicians amendment the way they intend. The sign-up link is below in the newsletter.
