Ohio Republican Secretary of State Frank LaRose announced Friday that his office has removed 155,000 inactive and out-of-date voter registrations from the state’s voter rolls ahead of the November election. While LaRose says he is legally required to remove inactive and non-U.S. citizen registrations, the time period to be considered “inactive” was reduced to four years, and there have been reports of people who vote regularly being removed in error. Check your voter registration by going to the Ohio Secretary of State website. You have until October 7 to update your registration or register to vote to be able to vote in the November 5 General Election. |
