We Are Ohio and 73 unions representing hundreds of thousands of public and private sector workers sent a letter to Ohio House Speaker Jason Stephens and members of the Oho House this week urging lawmakers to protect collective bargaining rights and reject Senate Bill 83.

In the letter, We Are Ohio and the unions remind lawmakers that Ohio workers and voters will not stand idly by when their rights and freedoms are threatened.
A threat to one union is a threat to all unions.
The bill’s sponsor, state Sen. Jerry Cirino, R-Kirtland, is anti-worker, anti-union and anti-free speech and thought. His extreme ideas will destroy Ohio’s proud public university traditions.
