Remember when voucher money went to parents, and parents, in turn, turned the money over to the private schools? That ruse was a foot-in-the-door tactic to lessen taxpayer resistance to vouchers. Voucher crusaders and their legislator lackeys have always used deceptive maneuvers to claw their way from the rhetoric “saving poor kids from low-performing school districts” to “every parent has the fundamental right to private schooling with tax money”.
The endgame for privatizers is that all education will be private and funded by tax dollars.
