MEET TIM RYAN, DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE FOR THE U.S. SENATE

A lifelong Ohioan who lives just a few miles from the house where he grew up in Niles, Tim has spent his career fighting for Ohio workers. He’s seen in his own community what happens when our politics and our economy aren’t working for working people. And he understands that there’s nothing more patriotic than investing in our team, bringing good-paying jobs to Ohio, and making sure our workers can compete with countries around the world — and win. ICYMI: DeWine Has Problems With Rs

DeWine barely crossed 48% of support in the May 3 primary, and more Republicans voted against DeWine than for him.

Democratic state Rep. Jeff Crossman announced Thursday his filing of a criminal complaint asking the Ohio State Highway Patrol to investigate Republican members of the Ohio Redistricting Commission for dereliction of duty.

Crossman, the Democratic nominee for attorney general this November, said the GOP commissioners had “recklessly failed to perform a duty expressly imposed by law with respect to the public servant’s office” and alleged “interference with civil rights.” READ MORE

WORD FROM THE CHAIR – RAYMOND LEMBKEA strong case can be made that democracy in America is under more serious threat than ever before in our history. What should we do? In Ohio, fighting back starts with getting a General Assembly that fairly represents Ohioans. The illegal districts forced on us this year will be re-drawn for 2024. We must have a Democratic majority on the Redistricting Commission which will draw those districts. READ MORE
