BATAVIA, OH — Claire Corcoran, President of the Board of County Commissioners, today announced the selection of Stephanie Hemmer-Haight by the Clermont County Board of Elections as their new director effective today. She will replace Director Julia Carney, who has accepted a position as Assistant Clermont County Prosecutor. READ MORE

During a recent gathering of one of our clubs, the question came up whether the club should participate this year in a particular summer festival. The club had participated in the festival for the last several years. They decided not to participate this year. Multiple members expressed the perception that people in the community where the festival is held are becoming more aggressively hostile to Democrats, progressives, and anyone else who does not worship at the altar of trump. I think it is fair to say that an element of fear played major role in the decision. READ MORE

Our GOTV virtual live trainings are a brand new set of trainings to provide you with new tools and resources to help you win.

COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics AT THE LIBRARY
The Clermont County Library is working with the Clermont County Public Health Department to provide COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics.
Union Township Branch – 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 14
Felicity Branch – 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Wednesday, July 21
New Richmond Branch – 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 21
No appointments are necessary, but individuals can use the ArmorVax app to schedule one. The clinics are open to everyone age 12 and up. Those under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. This clinic is good for first or second Pfizer vaccinations. A limited amount of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be available. Call the Clermont County Public Health Department at 513-732-7499 if you have questions.

ADOPT-A-HIGHWAY CLEAN UP – The Quin-T Democrat Club is resuming their community volunteer program to clean up the one mile stretch of US52 west of New Richmond. Volunteers will meet at the New Richmond IGA parking lot at 9:30 am on Sunday, July 18 2021. Safety vests and grabber tools will be provided. It is recommended that volunteers wear long pants and work gloves. Please contact Donna Hermann at donnah49@gmail.com to sign up.
COUNTY FAIR – Quin-T traditionally volunteers to staff the Clermont County Democratic Party’s booth at the Clermont County Fair on Tuesday of fair week which is July 27 this year. Fair week is July 25 through July 31. CCDP is looking for volunteers to set up on July 24 and clean up August 1, as well as daily two hours shifts from noon to 8pm throughout the week. Volunteers will receive a one day free admission for each day they volunteer. Whether you’re a member of Quin-T or just want to have some fun representing the Clermont County Democratic Party please consider signing up here.
